I'm walking on sunshine :)

The weather in NYC has been divine these past few days. It is so refreshing to have nice breezes with warm sunshine. I felt so good this morning driving with my windows open, listening to salsa music. I know the weather has been unpredictable so I am relishing it while I can! My walks are so much more enjoyable, in comparison to the middle of January!

Question: What's your opinion on edamame? My co-worker buys some at a Japanese place nearby, steamed and sprinkled with sea salt. I've never had it before, but she has been sharing it with me. I LOVE it! What do you think about it?

  1. The weather in NY has been phenoms!!! I'm about an hour north of the city, in Orange County. By Woodbury Commons. Ever heard of that? That's a landmark most people recognize.

I've never had Edamame but it is on my food-to-try-list!!

Love the positivity your blog brings into my day!

    1. Ditto! Your blog is like a breath of fresh air! :)

Definitely try the edamame, it's tasty!

  2. Edamame is delicious! I love it, but in moderation. There have been some studies indicating health risks with high consumption of soy (and soy is in almost everything processed) and since edamame is pure soy, I try only to enjoy it rarely!

    1. Oh, good to know, thanks for sharing the article with me! I 've only had it a handful of times, I will make sure not too have it excessively!

  3. I was about to post the same thing as Jeanette. I try to limit Edamame as it is pure soy. Soy is in almost everything.

So glad you are having such good weather. It makes all the difference.

  4. Don't you just love this weather? I'm in LI, & the sunshine really does improve my mood. :-) I've never tried edamame, so can't give you an opinion.

  6. I love me some edamame. When I go for sushi, I start out with edamame and then I'm satisfied on a single veggie roll. It's all great!

    1. It's great when you're craving salt and need to take the edge off!

  7. I love edamame but am not a fan of soy (processed soy is different/apparently of more concern than the beans themselves, but I still don't like to eat much of it) and as delicious as it is, edamame is one of those "healthy" foods I can eat way too much of if it's around. So sometimes I get it at the sushi place but not very often.
